O’Dell Engineering, a Westwood company provided civil engineering and land surveying services for the design of a new 10 acre aquatics center at Northgate High School in Walnut Creek, CA. The plans included complex storm solutions for water quantity and quality. Storm water management and hydro modification compliance with Bay Area stormwater C.3 guidance was required. New on-site water treatment devices were integrated with conventional runoff and landscape elements. This hillside project presented coordination and negotiation challenges, all of which were successfully resolved. Our team provided design development, construction documents, and agency coordination.
