O’Dell Engineering, a Westwood company deployed a boat-mounted, dual-frequency sonar unit to collect bathymetric survey data as part of this project so that mapping could extend to the bottom of Lake McClure without having to wait for the lake level to drop. At the same time, traditional ground-based topographic surveying was also performed to develop comprehensive base mapping to support the design of new intake system piping to support the Lake Don Pedro Community Services District’s potable water system.
