We are excited to announce that O’Dell Engineering Associate Landscape Architect Chad Kennedy was named one of The Modesto Bee’s 20 Under 40 Class of 2016!
Out of over 70 submissions, Mr. Kennedy was selected to be a member of this inaugural class of local rising stars. In May, the Modesto Bee solicited nominations for outstanding emerging leaders who have not only achieved professional success, but have demonstrated a passion for enhancing our local community.
Mr. Kennedy holds a Master’s of Landscape Architecture from Utah State University. He is a licensed landscape architect in California, an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist, a NRPA Certified Playground Safety Inspector, a LEED AP BD+C professional, and is ESRI ArcView Certified.
Mr. Kennedy is an active member of the Modesto-area community. In 2009, Mr. Kennedy was appointed as the Director of Landscape Architecture at O’Dell Engineering and in 2013 he was made an Associate at the firm. In this role he has designed and overseen countless community improvement projects in the area including parks, playgrounds, trails, recreation facilities, residential developments, transportation systems, and commercial landscapes.
In every project he completes, his design is focused on positively impacting the community through innovative, sustainable, and inclusive design principles.
