The existing space was enhanced with a myriad of educational opportunities, loosely based on a transportation theme to honor Sunnyvale’s rich railroad history. The project includes new non-slip rubberized surfaces for outdoor play, a dramatic tunnel element, low fencing with a variety of learning panels, and an outdoor classroom. O’Dell Engineering, a Westwood company provided professional services for this project including project management, a preliminary design, public meetings, design development, a bid package, bidding services, and construction support services.
