O’Dell Engineering, a Westwood company is providing landscape architecture services to support the development of an inclusive facility for Miracle League Fields in Redwood City. The Miracle League’s mission is to provide opportunities for children with disabilities to play Miracle League baseball, regardless of their abilities. This mission aligns perfectly with our team’s passion to provide play opportunities to all. Conceptual master plan options were completed for potential sites to support fundraising efforts. The facility master plan includes a synthetic turf field appropriate for adaptive play, a multi-use synthetic turf field for sports play, a full basketball court, hardcourts for tetherball and four square, a synthetic turf little league baseball field, a short soccer field, an inclusive playground, and an informal gold putting green and driving range, a concession and restroom building, safety fencing, ADA parking, and ADA ramps.
