The Awesome Spot Playground is a socially inclusive and sensory integrated park designed to eliminate social, physical and cognitive barriers from play. It focuses on proper childhood development through inclusive and intergenerational play. The nature themed playground leaves the mind free to creative and imaginative play taking into account all forms of sensory input. Our team performed the site topo investigation, designed the play space, created the sponsorship packet, and is involved in fundraising efforts and public outreach meetings.
