Big Trees Park Playground gets its name from a grove of impressive mature eucalyptus that surrounded the original play structures on the site. Big Trees Park Playground is a nature themed playground operated by Livermore Area Recreation and Park District. With unique design elements such as a large 16-foot treehouse, boulder rocks, a tree maze, and a nature themed sensory wall, this site provides a myriad of opportunities for play and exploration galore! The community championed this project from start to finish and was heavily involved in the design and theming of the space.
