O’Dell Engineering Assistant Civil Engineer Veronica dela Fuente was invited to speak at the first-ever State of Diversity in Engineering Summit at UC Davis. The Diversity Summit aimed to stimulate incisive discussions on the significance and impact of diversity and inclusivity from the classroom to the engineering industry. As a part of the esteemed panel, she spoke on the transition from university to industry.

Veronica has a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UC Davis and has been with the O’Dell team for two years. We are so proud of her efforts to increase visibility on important issues such as inclusion, advocacy, and community.
