In The News: Fresno Cultural Arts District Park
O’Dell Engineering’s Cultural Arts District Park project was recently featured in The Fresno Bee. The article, titled “Fresno City Council approves $1.8 million in new park acquisitions, improvements,” announces that the Council unanimously approved a $1.16 million bid award to build a new park in downtown Fresno’s Cultural Arts District.
O’Dell Engineering provided design services for the park in 2015 and will be involved during the construction of the park as well. The park’s design features include an interactive lighting display, a multi-purpose lawn area, 2-5 year play equipment, workout stations, and a local art exhibition space. O’Dell is excited to see this project moving forward and hopes the benefits are long enjoyed by residents, as this is one of the most park deficient areas in the City. The conversion of this empty lot to a park space will foster social gatherings and opportunities for recreation by community members.
