In The News: Sacramento Kings/City of Sacramento Land Swap Would Eliminate Need For Lease

On December 12, 2013 the Sacramento Business Journal reported that a proposed land swap between the Sacramento Kings and the City of Sacramento would eliminate the need for the City to lease the land upon which the arena is built. The swap would trade three parcels in Downtown Sacramento for the land under the proposed arena.
