This is the first of multiple land transfers from PG&E to be arranged and supervised by the Stewardship Council. A conservation easement over the same 240 acre parcel was conveyed to the Mother Lode Land Trust. The parcel sits in Kennedy Meadows, at almost 6,500 feet in elevation, at the gateway to the Emigrant Wilderness.
